As a student at Binghamton University moving off campus was a big change for Hamza. Hamza was disappointed with the options of either paying $1,000 a bedroom just to have maintenance take a week to fix a doorknob or paying $600 a bedroom to find out the newest roommate was a squirrel in the ceiling.
And so HowDo Rentals was born with a passion like no other. As it turns out, in a market where 99% of landlords are scum, Hamza was able to provide great housing with efficient management at an affordable price.
In his free time Hamza enjoys volunteering with Broome County Meals on Wheels and working with the university’s CDCI internship program to provide for credit internships where interns learn about real estate. Hamza also owns a 50 acre farm, selling organic lambs, apples, peaches, cherries and vegetables.
